Drop off old mattresses, whitegoods, tyres, electronics and couches at your local resource recovery centre. A limit of 15 items per household applies and proof of Hume residency – such as a driver's license, tenancy agreement or rates notice – is required. A Plastic Ocean screening 7pm – 9pm, Thursday 6 December Hume Global Learning Centre – Broadmeadows 1093 Pascoe Vale Road, Broadmeadows A Plastic Ocean is a documentary that shows the impact plastic pollution is having on our oceans and food chain. Come along to see how the environment is being affected and learn about possible solutions for tackling this growing problem.
